Brace Audio Quote:
"This little tool has power! The sound is direct and clear. It is small and easy to handle, just plug in and play and get the real powerful guitar sound. That's all I need. I will use the Brace on Stage so that I can get away from the risk of being electrically shocked! All in all, the DWG-1000 will be my new best friend."
Bio:
Jürgen was born in London in 1964 as the son of guitar virtuoso Ritchie Blackmore and his German wife, Margit. Ritchie Blackmore is best known as a founding member of the legendary bands Deep Purple and Rainbow. Raised in Hamburg, Jurgen received his first acoustic guitar at the age of 10. Blessed with the exceptional musical talent of his father and the encouragement of his mother, Jürgen knew early on that he would have a career in music.

In 1979 he started apprenticeship as a guitar maker at the famous Georg's Music Shop. Around this time, Jürgen had his first experiences with several small local rock acts. In 1986, he made his debut as a professional musician on Iron Angel's WINDS OF WAR album. Meanwhile, Jürgen collaborated with the band Straight, established J.R. Blackmore's Superstition, and finally developed his own solo project. In 1990, the J.R. Blackmore Group started their international career after a number of high profile gigs, including a stand at the famous Docks in Hamburg, Germany.

Jürgen built his reputation through videos and a Czechoslovakian tour. During this time, Jürgen met a number of influential musicians including Michael Bormann (Jaded Heart), Wolf Hoffmann (Accept), and Uli Roth (ex-Scorpions) who inspired and deepened his musical sense. A cover version of his dad's "Smoke on the Water" with King Kurlee went Top 10 in Australia and New Zealand. Throughout the nineties, Jürgen also spent some time as a studio musician.

In 2003, Jürgen was so touched by the encouragement of his fans, he enlisted close long-time friend, Malte Rathke to produce an instrumental project. This project was released on December 2, 2005 as RECALL THE PAST, a 4 track ep distributed worldwide through Twilight-Vertrieb. A little more than a year later, Jürgen released the full length album BETWEEN DARKNESS AND LIGHT. Twilight-Vertrieb again handled worldwide distribution duties for this album, released on May 19, 2006.

Since the release of BETWEEN DARKNESS AND LIGHT, Jürgen has written songs and done session work for other artists. One of his more notable collaborations was with ELA. He contributed guitars for the song "Out of Time", appeared in a video and did extensive press to promote this project.

In 2008, Jürgen joined forces with Joe Lynn Turner (vocals), Tony Carey (keyboards), Greg Smith (bass), and Bobby Rondinelli (drums) for a project called Over The Rainbow. The band performs the songs of Rainbow, and fittingly Jürgen's bandmates were all former members and contributors to the legendary band. Over The Rainbow recently completed a world tour in 2009, visiting more than 13 countries and performing at a number of festival shows along the way.

In 2010, Jurgen is involved in a new project, EBC RACING TEAM in collaboration with ELA and Tony Carey. The tour with Over The Rainbow also continues with new dates being added daily.
